The Bosboom Toussaintstraat is named after Geertruida Bosboom-Toussaint, a well-known Dutch writer.
The street is located in the Helmersbuurt in the Centrum-West district. The street got its name in 1882 and forms an important connection between the Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat and the Nassaukade.
Nearby are the romantic Jordaan, with picturesque canals, vintage boutiques and art galleries, the Leidseplein entertainment area and the Overtoom, a beautiful street full of history.
